Two Trusted Brands, One Account
Currently, Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide operate as two distinct networks with their own operational and technology ecosystems. Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide have transitioned to a combined network.
Here’s a brief look at why we've combined our two brands.
What this means for you
Our unified network will enable us to handle all parcel sizes, ensuring more efficient collection, processing, and delivery of higher parcel volumes.
The Parcelforce brand will remain, but instead of operating with two distinct product sets, Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide will operate using a single set of products and services, to leverage the collective strengths of our combined networks.
Seamless migration support every step of the way
We have a dedicated programme in place to assist our customers in transitioning to the new network, backed by a team of specialists ready to support you throughout the process.
Need to access services from your old Parcelforce account?
We’re retaining some account services for a short period whilst customers migrate to their new Royal Mail account. Find out what you can still access from your Parcelforce account here.
Latest updates
We've published an important service update.
This week we’ve uploaded a short film explaining the transformation.
As we transition to a unified Parcelforce and Royal Mail ecosystem, we are introducing several operational changes that will offer you increased flexibility and more options when using our services.
Soon, users of the Parcelforce App will be able to use the Royal Mail App to continue accessing the same features, along with many new ones. This transition means that you will be able to track both Parcelforce and Royal Mail items from a single app.
To facilitate this transition, the Parcelforce App was discontinued on 5th May 2025. In the meantime, you can continue tracking your parcels via the Parcelforce website at parcelforce.com
As part of our ongoing commitment to protect service whilst we prepare for network transformation, we are trialling a new technology with a small number of our drivers at our Stoke and Lincoln depots starting in May. If you are sending parcels to or from these areas, please be aware that you may experience isolated changes. These potential changes include:
- Inflight: you may experience some changes to inflight notifications
- Collection scan: as we trial the new technology you may not receive a collection scan. Normal scans through our network will remain unchanged.
We expect no impact on our ability to deliver our guaranteed services as you would normally expect.
